Qatar World Cup Tickets Back On Sale

The World Cup frenzy has already begun. The host country Qatar is also beginning to feel the insanity of the fans and supporters. The World Cup will start in November this year. According to the organizers, out of the 20 lakh tickets allotted for the general public, 12 lakh tickets have been sold.

As of last April, 23.5 million applications had been received for the last phase of ticket sales. The last phase of the Qatar World Cup tickets will be available online from July 5. According to the FIFA press release, Qatar World Cup tickets will be available online from 12 midnight local time in Doha to 12 midnight on August 18. Tickets will be sold on a first come first served basis. The new ticket sales schedule has aroused widespread interest around the world.

According to the FIFA press release, a total of 3 million tickets, including tickets allotted for patrons, are still unsold. Last week, Hassan al-Thawadi, Head of the World Cup organizing committee, said 1.2 million tickets could be sold from there. FIFA president Gianni Infantino said 5 million applications had been submitted against 60,000 seats to enjoy the final match of the Qatar World Cup at Lucille Stadium.

Although accommodation in Dohar, which has a population of 2.4 million, is limited, a large crowd is being prepared for the 32-team tournament. Last month, Qatar announced that a large number of shuttle flights would be arranged from neighboring Gulf countries so that football fans could stay in another country and come from there to enjoy World Cup matches.
